Brian Martin, right, director of Brett Martin, marks another major commitment by the company to Habitat for Humanity, which supports regeneration and reconciliation in Northern Ireland. He is pictured with the charity’s executive director Peter Farqharson at its new development of highly energy efficient homes on Madrid Street in East Belfast, which Brett Martin is supporting.

The company has provided backing for a range of Habitat for Humanity projects over the past decade, including its Hope Through Homes scheme, which provided homeownership for 30 local families. This has included financial support, in-kind support and the donation of staff time to work on Habitat for Humanity schemes.

Habitat for Humanity is a cross-community movement for regeneration and reconciliation within and between communities in Northern Ireland and around the world. Its community-based self-build housing programmes focus on volunteerism, skills and leadership-development in conflict and post-conflict settings.

Mallusk-based Brett Martin is one of Northern Ireland’s major employers and a significant contributor to the local economy. It provides a wide range of plastic-based construction products to customers in dozens of countries around the world.
